Aesthetic Bar Trailer for Vancouver Engagement Party

Rainbow Greenhouses Inc.

The Brief:

Provide a bar set up large enough to cater to 300 guests at a Greenhouse’s Annual Company Party

The Event

Tamp & Muddle Co. delivered our biggest bar set up to date at 24’ Long. Bar Service was provided by Sister Spirits Bartending, and they requested having one bar station for ease of service. Two Hampton Bars were beside our Ivy Pearl Bar Trailer giving ample space for beverage service, glassware and enhancing the aesthetics of this tropical winter weekend.

The Results

Within a week after the event, we received an email from the Event Coordinator “I've officially been given the go-ahead to start planning our 2025 event, and i'd love for you both to be a part of it.”

Satisfaction Proof is in the pudding!

We absolutely love working with greenhouses…especially in January!! For a second year in a row, we were honored to provide bar set ups for Rainbow Greenhouses Inc.

This is such a fun project for us for a few reasons

#1 Collaboration

We get to work with amazing local vendors like Steph at Party Tree Rentals, Sister Spirits Bartending and Casalinga Food Services. Communicating with Rainbow’s event coordinator, Kaila, was also a pleasure.

#2 The Venue

What creative doesn’t love a blank canvas? Steph did an incredible job of taking an empty greenhouse and turning it into a 5 Star Dinner Venue.

This is also THE perfect type of building for a mobile bar trailer. Literally no issues driving our trailer right in and out. That’s just one of the beauties of a Fraser Valley event. There is so much space!

For a large event with 300 guests, this also allows for our biggest bar setup to date, a 24 foot long bar. With our Hampton Satellite Bars alongside the Cocktail Bar Trailer, there was ample room for guests to get their choice of drink from Sister Spirits.

#3 The Decor

If you haven’t noticed…we kind of like greenery. So collaborating with a tropical plant supplier for their annual company event is pretty much a dream come true. When you walk in with a line up of palm trees, you know you’re in the right place. ESPECIALLY DURING A WINTER STORM.

We had to de-winterize our trailer just in time for this event, and it was nice and cozy inside the greenhouse for the brunt of the arctic outflow. Ivy Pearl is now snugly winterized again until the Spring. The Satellite Bars are available to rent year-round.

Gin Botanical Garden Party Styled Shoot

I had been dreaming of doing a styled shoot with Ivy Pearl, our converted horse trailer bar for months (possibly years!) and it was finally time. I was inspired to come up with a series of “spirit” styled shoots and since we launched our bar trailer in the spring, Gin was the obvious choice!

Our Bar Menu was gin-based cocktails. With signature cocktails, we always recommend serving no more than 3. We served:

  • Elderflower Rose Gin Sour using Empress 1908 Gin (See recipe here)

  • Classic G&T using Tempo Gin

  • Jenn & Tonic (Jenn’s twist on the classic)

I put together a list of vendors I wanted to work with or have worked with previously and to my delight, everyone was stoked to join! They all loved the theme and you can’t ask for anything better than that!

Coordinating this was no small feat, but as an unofficial party planner, it was a challenge I was ready to take on.

I knew right from the get-go I wanted Events by Elle to provide decor and especially a lounge set up. Elle has beautiful taste and we had been communicating for several months about collaborating. She was thrilled to be a part of the shoot and recommended some photographers she’d like to work with. That’s how I found Bre. (Love this collaboration thing!)

We got a contract together and the date was set!

I’ve learned over my 18 year experience as an entrepreneur to delegate tasks that either don’t bring me joy, are stressful, or simply not my forte. I reached out to Stephanie from Simply Stone Events to be my Day of Coordinator, so the timing of everyone setting up was off my shoulders. I’m so glad she accepted because she absolutely rocked it!

Here she is with her assistant and Wine Maker of Cavallo Winery. We got to taste their Rose before it was released to the public!

Why Signature Cocktails are a Must-Have for Your Event

Signature cocktails have become a popular trend in the world of cocktails and for good reason. They offer a unique and personalized experience for guests, making your event stand out. Here are some reasons why signature cocktails are a great idea:

  1. Personalized Experience

One of the biggest benefits of signature cocktails is that they offer a personalized experience for guests. You can create a cocktail that reflects the style, theme or taste of your event or wedding. This not only makes your event stand out, but it also creates a unique experience that your guests are sure to remember.

  2. Branding and Marketing

Creating a signature cocktail is also a great way to market your brand or corporate event. By having a unique cocktail, you can use it as a marketing tool to attract new customers and promote your brand. You can also promote your cocktail on social media platforms or in marketing materials.

  3. Cost-Effective

Couples listen up! Creating a signature cocktail can also be a cost-effective option. Instead of offering a full bar with endless options, you can focus on creating one or two signature cocktails that use the same base ingredients. This allows you to buy ingredients in bulk and save on costs.

  4. Easy to Prepare

Another great benefit of signature cocktails is that they are easy to prepare. Unlike traditional cocktails that require a lot of preparation and mixing, signature cocktails are typically simpler and require fewer ingredients. This makes it easier for bartenders to prepare them quickly and efficiently, eliminating long lines for your guests.

  5. Enhances the Atmosphere

Finally, signature cocktails can also enhance the atmosphere of your event. By having a unique and personalized drink, it creates a sense of excitement and anticipation for guests. It also adds to the overall experience and can make your event feel more exclusive.

In conclusion, signature cocktails are a great idea for any corporate event or wedding. They offer a personalized experience for guests, enhance the atmosphere, and are cost-effective and easy to prepare. Rising in popularity and desire is the option for a zero-proof signature cocktail. So, the next time you are planning an event or looking for a way to promote your brand, consider creating a signature cocktail or two– your guests will thank you!
